Only wine festival', la sesta edizione si avvicina: da Roma parte ...

Glasses will be clinking merrily in the heart of Rome between the 29th February to the 2nd March during the first Rome Wine Festival. Held in the prestigious Spazio Etoile in Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina, the festival aims to present the best of Italian wines from a vast range of both large and small vintners. Organised by the International Wine Academy of Rome and the Publica srl media company, the Festival will be open to both the public and trade.

A number of prestigious international guests will be attending the event, including world-famous wine expert Jean Claude Berrout (creator of Petrus), Charles Metcalfe, the co-founder of Wine International and co-chairman of the International Wine Challenge of London and wine writer and connoisseur Bernard Burtschy, as well as several leading American wine importers.

On the closing day, prizes will be awarded to various categories connected with the world of wine, such as: the best Wine Museum, the Best Wine Route, the most innovative label and the most interesting and incisive initiative aimed at preserving native Italian grapes and vineyards.
