HISTORIC ITALIAN CARS 1899-2009

 

The Nicolis Museum of Villafranca (Verona )  is offering a special treat for car lovers as part of the current exhibition: The Italian Car from 1899 to 2009, ere unique examples of famous Italian automobile creations are on show. The museum of Cars, Technology and Mechanics, founded by Luciano Nicolis in 2000, has selected 14 jewels from its collection of all symbols of a century of Italian car manufacturing  for the exhibition, including the Fiat 512 of 1926, the Maserati 3500 GT Vignale 1960, the Lancia Beta 20 HP SGV of 1911, the Darraq Phaeton 1898, the Alfa Romeo RM La Zagato 1925 and the Ferrari 250 GTE 2-2 Pininfarina 1963.

The exhibition The Italian Car from 1899 to 2009 is promoted by the Galleria Ferrari of Maranello (Modena) and is spread over five different venues, including the Automobile Museum of Turin, the Umberto Panini Collection at Corlo di Formigine near Maranello and the Fiat Historic Centre, situated in its first workshop in Corso Dante, Turin.
