Until the 18 November, the Archbishops Palace of Arezzo, which is normally closed to the public, will be open to visitors upon prior booking. The first floor rooms contain a gallery of paintings dating from the XV to the XIX century, as well as the notable cycle of 16 th century frescoes by The apartment occupied by Pope John Paul II during his visit to the town in 1992 will also be on show. The Palace will be open on Sundays 21 October, 4 and 18 November 2012 at 16.00. Entrance is free with a special pass, which will be distributed without charge at the entrance.
