The Adriatic coast from Comacchio, Ravenna, Cesenatico, Rimini to Cattolica, ever popular with lovers of sea, sand and fun, launched its 2013 summer season on the 5 July. The famous Pink Nights programme offers practically endless entertainment spread over 110 kms of concerts, theatres, parades, night spots, bars, discos, dance halls, cinemas, cabaret and poetry readings along the uninterrupted strip of lidos and promenades, with hotels, restaurants, boutiques, bars and bathing establishments all decked out in the colour pink for the occasion
Over 300 events starring leading Italian and international artistes kicked off in Rimini on the 29 June with the Molo Street Parade, where local fishing boats became floating consoles with DJs on board. Riccione presented its cinema festival between the 1-4 July. Among the unusual and special events, immersion in pink bubbles at the Acqafan Club, the Misano Pink Carnival and a pink" fish meal at the Fantini spa club of Cervia.
Midnight exploded with a colossal firework display over the sea, for the Capodanna Estivo (Summer New Year's Eve Party).
