MORE WHITE FOR 2013 GRAPE HARVEST

This years grape harvest promises well, according to Italian wine registries Agrinsieme, Federvini and Unione Italiana Vini (Uiv). Production has increased by 7% compared with 2012, with a total 45 hectolitres.  Due to climatic conditions, the grape harvest is taking place some fifteen days later than last year.

Main increases are registered in the white wines category, especially at top quality level, while the production of the reds remains the same as 2012. The most exciting new development in wine imbibing is a new-found preference for  after a long period of stagnation  in consumption. Happy rosďż˝ producers are hoping customers will continue to think pink for the coming season!
