EUROPEAN RESEARCHERS NIGHT IN ITALY

Italy participates in the European Researchers' Night on the 26th September 2014 with a European record of over 300 events held all over the country. Five projects  of Dreams, Luna 2014, Sharper, Party don't stop and Tracks  developed by Italy's most prestigious scientific institutes and financed by the European Commission, will highlight the work of the country's scientific researchers.

The objective of the Eur Night is to bridge the gap between the general public and the scientific world by presenting scientific research in an informal and entertaining manner, with many initiatives specially aimed at school children. Fun with science will include trips with geologists, demonstrations of experiments, visits to science museums and observatories, exhibitions, theatrical performances with a scientific theme and educational games for children, as well as the revelation of new discoveries, materials and techniques that will have impact on all our lives in the future.
