Between the 15^th -17^th July 2016, the town of Fabrica di Roma, near Viterbo (Lazio) is hosting iuts annual Sheep Festival, where visitors can taste all the delectable products that derive from the useful Ovis aries species, such as sheep's cheese ricotta and other cheeses.

Stands will be serving low cost speciality menus of gnocchi with meat sauce, lamb chops, lamb kebabs, sausages and mutton stew, almost all prepared on the spot.

Visitors can also book up for the Sheep Package Tour of the many places of historical and archaeological interest in the surrounding area, including the Etruscan ruins of Falerii Novi and the 12^th century Cistercian Church of Santa Maria in Falleri.
