The Venice cruise terminal welcomed a record 2 million passengers during 2010, confirming the position of the Serenissima as top port of call for cruise ships in the Mediterranean, along with Barcelona.

Star Princess cruise passenger Bevis Metzler from California was the lucky number 2,000,000 to embark at the Venice Terminal on the 10 th November 2010. She was greeted by Venice Passenger Port President Sandro Trevisanato, who presented her with a Murano glass sculpture in the form of an anchor.
