SIENA: "THE SEASON OF OIL"

As part of the Seasons of Oil event staged by the Enoteca Italiana (National Wine Board) at Siena, Sunday 27 February will be dedicated to Italys second (or first) most precious liquid product: extra virgin olive oil. Eight celebrity chefs will demonstrate their skills on the art of cooking with the liquid gold.

The morning will be devoted to olive oil as dressing for salads, dips, vegetarian dishes, fish and meat. The afternoon, instead, will produce mouth-watering pan-fried delights. The participating chefs will introduce the public to novel tricks of the trade, demonstrating the versatility of quality olive oil in the kitchen.
