The 54 th edition of the world famous Festival of Spoleto in Umbria closes with the traditional concert in the main square in front of the duomo. This years version is a tribute to Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi and honours the 150 th Anniversary of the Unification of Italy.The concert will be performed by the choir and orchestra of the Teatro di San Carlo Naples, conducted by American composer James Conlon, musical director of the Los Angeles Opera.
