Agriturismi.it, the Italian portal of farmhouses, launches a new initiative open to all lovers of travelling and of holidays in the sign of nature, wellness and good food.
Free Night in the Farmhouses is the name of the promotion valid from September 14th to October 14th 2012, one month to enjoy the 3x2 offers in one of the 75 facilities that have joined the initiative. By spending two nights at a farmhouse of their choice all over Italy, guests will receive the third one for free and will have the chance to carry out a free activity among the many ones available: guided excursions, tastings, cooking courses, didactic farms, spa sessions and much more.
First place for Tuscany, which is the region with the highest number of participations, as many as 24, while Siena, Florence and Pisa are the cities that put forward the widest range of offers, especially in the food and wine department: in the province of Arezzo it is possible to get to know the nuances of wine in the company of an expert sommelier.
Lots of participations also from Umbria, which focuses on nature excursions and trekking, offering visitors horse rides, but also tours on the back of a donkey. Veneto and Lazio instead concentrate on rural traditions and wellness: in Vicenza, a bread-making course with organic floor, and relax at the baths and spa of Viterbo. Finally, a full immersion into autumn farming activities with the chance to take part in the grape harvest in the farmhouses of Tuscany and Campania.
