SAN DANIELE ON TOUR

One of italys most prestigious gastronomic products, San Daniele prosciutto, is on tour again this year 2013. With the theme Il Prosciutto per ogni Pane Italiano (prosciutto ham for every type of Italian bread) San Daniele offers tastings in various Italian regions, combined with typical local breads.

The appointment this weekend 16-17 March is at Orvieto with three types of traditional Umbria bread and three types of Tuscany bread at the Restaurant La Grotta, organized by Le Cesarine Home Food.

The San Daniele Prosciutto per ogni Pane Italiano began in 2011 in Milan to mark the 50 th  anniversary of the Consortium Prosciutto DOP. The tour touched Friuli, Verona, Bari, Rome, Naples, Como, Catania, Turin and Bologna, each time featuring three types of exclusively local bread.

The Orvieto appointment is open to the public, but prior booking is required.
