GOLDEN BOOKS HOTELS LAUNCHES DIGITAL LIBRARY

 

Mauro Gabba, President of the Associazione Alberghi del Libro D'Oro, founded in 1991, has announced the chain's latest literary initiative of the creation of a Digital Library for the benefit of guests.

For the past twenty years, the Golden Books hotels have held an annual literature prize, Eureka! for short stories set in one of their hotels, where traditionally books are left at the bedside of all their guests. The chain incorporates some of Italy's most charming and original hotels, such as the historic Albergo del Sole, Rome, the Hotel Relais Ultimo Mulino, Pordenone (Fruili), the Masseria Il Fratoio at Ostuni (Puglia), the Hotel Belvedere at Bellagio (Lake Como), the Hotel Spadari al Duomo and the Grand Duca di Yorkâin Milan, the Majestic Foscarelli of Padova and the Ape Rosa Relais, Florence.
