The historic Castle of Polpenazze del Garda (Bs) stages its annual Biofesta, one of the Lombardy region's most important festivals dedicated to organic produce, on the 3-6 August 2018.
The Festival involves over 200 organic farmers from the regional area. A place of honour will be assigned to the most famous local specialities like the Valtenesi wines and extra virgin olive oil, along with the stands of cheeses, jams, honey, fruit and vegetables, cosmetics and clothes - all certified of organic origin.
A novel addition will be the use of exclusively recyclable plates and cooking utensils at the BioSpiedo event, opening on Friday 3 August.
Musical entertainment will be provided by "La Piccola Orchestra Italiana", the "Officina delle Note" band and "Corimč", music of the Mediterranean.
