The MSC cruise ship company launches its latest liner, Bellissima, at Southampton (UK) on the 2 March 2019. A mega party programme will accompany the MSC Bellissima baptism, with Sofia Loren cutting the ribbon and entertainment provided by the world-famous Cirque du Soleil. The evening festivities will carry on with Grammy Award-winner Nile Rodgers, leader of the Chic (rock star Hall of Fame) and popular British TV star Holly Willoughby.
The MSC Bellissima departs for her 10 night maiden cruise on the 4 March. She will be based in Genoa, with a programme of weekly departures every Sunday on a circular itinerary based in the Mediterranean, including Naples (imbarcations on Mondays), Messina (Tuesdays), Malta, Barcellona and Marseilles.
The latest edition to the MSC stable is distinguished for its range of luxury facilities and top range speciality restaurants. In November 2019 the fleet will be joined by its latest jewel, the MSC Grandiosa.
