VIRTUAL GRAND TOUR OF ITALY

Procida Island Napoli Italia artistica da parete con stampa ...

The Italian Ministry of Culture and Tourism (MIBAC) has launched an online virtual tour of museums, palaces and historic sites. Over sixty sites in different regions of the peninsula are featured, as well as exclusive peeps into the Luce Institute, Cinecitta, Rome's celebrated movie studios, the opera theatres of Rome, Naples and Venice and details of museum collections, through the online platform google arts & culture. By clicking on each photo, viewers can participate in a unique visit to places of their choice, with a 360 degree vision of individual rooms, works of art and archaeological sites. In the case of special events, such as the postponed Raphael exhibition in Rome, the frames are accompanied with lectures and explanations. Access is free.
