Risultati immagini per triennale milano 3019 broken nature

A permanent display of Italian Design objects has opened in concurrence with the Milan XXII International Triennale exhibition of design. The exhibition, which aims to become the most important international centre dedicated to Italian design, according to architect Stefano Boeri, President of the Triennale Milano, contains an initial collection of 200 objects chosen from among the 1,600 representative pieces in the Triennale collection.

They date from the years between 1948 to 1981, and feature revolutionary creations such as the Olivetti Lettera 22, the super-light chair designed by Gi Ponti, the Brionvega radio, the Moon Boot, the Gufram armchair in the form of lips and other iconic pieces which will occupy a 6000 sqm area of the Triennale site until 2022.

The present opening is the first stage in the creation of a permanent Italian Design Museum and will prove an additional attraction to the present Triennale, entitled "Broken Nature", which elaborates the theme of human survival through restorative design. The Triennale "Broken Nature" runs until the 30th September 2019.
