A former residence of the noble Dragonetti family, this country house hotel near L'Aquila, Abruzzo, and the Gran Sasso National Park, has been tastefully restored to its one-time splendour, preserving the unique features, such as the frescoes of exotic animals lining the grand stairway and the carriage entrance flanked with ancient Roman busts.
