ROME: DANISH QUEEN EXHIBITS WORKS



Romes Museo Nazionale Romano, situated in Palazzo Massimo near Termini Station, is holding a special exhibition of 18 costumes and 43 decoupage creations designed by Queen Margrethe II of Denmark for the cinema version of Hans Christian Andersens fairytale The Wild Swans.

The Queen, accompanied by Italys President, Giorgio Napolitano, the Danish Ambassador, Birger Jorgensen, and the Danish Minister of Culture, Uffe Elbaek, inaugurated the exhibition personally on the 14 April . The exhibition is open to the public till the 9 September 2012.
