FLORENCE RECOUNTS FASHION

The splendid setting of the Villa Bardini Museum of Florence will provide the backdrop for the work of Italy's famous fashion photographer Aldo Fallai, whose long collaboration with Giorgio Armani will be documented in over 200 fashion photographs, covering almost thirty years of collaboration with the Armani atelier.

“Aldo Fallai: From Giorgio Armani to the Renaissance: Photographs from 1978 to 2013” exhibits some of Fallai's most celebrated services for Vogue magazine, as well as advertising campaign shots, profiles of famous movie actresses, street scenes and nudes.

The present world of Made in Italy is represented by a section on the fashion creations by students of the Istituto Marangoni of Milan, selected by Fallai. In 2014 this exhibition will travel from Florence to Milan and then on to Paris, London and Shanghai as a show piece of Italian style and creativity.

The Villa Bardini exhibition will run from the 10 January-10 March 2014.
