 Two fun weekends in the famous Crete Senesi are planned for the 8^{th _} 9^th and 15^th -16^th November 2014 as part of the 29^th edition of the White Truffle Fair at the town of San Giovanni d'Asso. For the event, the vintage steam train Trenonatura (Nature Train) will be available for tours along the old Ascanio-Monte Antico railway line, closed twenty years ago.On Sunday 9^th November, the train leaves from Siena, travelling through the area of the famous vineyards of Brunello di Montalcino, reaching San Giovanni d'Asso in time for lunch. The return trip goes through the panoramic Val d'Orcia.The tour on the following Sunday 16^th November departs instead from Grosseto and crosses the Valley of D'Ombrone and Val D'Orcia to arrive at Monte Antico and the San Giovanni d'Asso  Fair.  The train returns to Grosseto by the same route.The Fair offers not only its prize truffle harvest, but also many high quality local products such as extra virgin olive oil, sheep's cheese, honey and the DOC Orcia wine. Visitors can also take the opportunity to visit the Truffle Museum (the first in Italy) and enjoy the various shows, exhibitions and talks on hand. Donations will also be collected for the pediatric hospital MEYER of Florence.
