The world famous art installation Floating Piers on Lake Iseo (Lombardy) by Bulgarian artist Christo Javacheff,  one of the major figures of the Land Art movement, is near completion and has already attracted thousands of queries from intrepid visitors keen to walk on water to  reach the Island of San Paolo. The floating walkway will be in operation between the 18th June to the 3rd July.

During the same period visitors can also visit the important exhibition of aborigine art at the Remo Bianco (White Oar) museum at the nearby Montina Franciacorta wine estate. The exhibition Kunibilarranda features many works by Australian artist Dir Dik.

Daily visits to the Montina cellars are available every day of the year by prior booking.
