The Park of the Delta of the river Po, well-known for its rich variety of animal and bird life, is organizing a series of initiatives up to the end of May for nature-lovers. The programme includes photography workshops, bird-watching and boat trips through a series of hidden waterways screened by canes and rushes. Excursions include wet zones such as Piallasse della Baio, the San Vitale pine forest, the Valle della Canna, home to a colony of marsh tortoises and fishing trips with local clam fishermen. Balloon flights are also available for a unique birds eye view.
