Rainbow MagicLand, a brand new theme park at Valmontone, in the vicinity of Rome, is due to open its gates on the 26 May 2011. The Park, which extends over an area of 600,000sqm and boasts 35 attractions certain to thrill children and adults alike, is divided into 24 theme areas, six of which inspired by Iginio Straffis Rainbow Group, including the internationally popular animation characters the fairies Winx, Moster Allergy, Huntik and PopPixie.

3 million tourists a year are expected to visit the Park, which is situated near the Valmontone exit of the southbound Autostrada del Sole, with parking designated for 5,500 cars. The area already possesses a highly successful Fashion Outlet district, visited by 6m shoppers a year.  Investors also plan to open three hotels in the area next year, with a total of 600 rooms.
