In addition to their regular openings, the Vatican Museums can now be visited every Friday evening till the 13 July 2012 and from the 7 September till the 26 October 2012 (last entrance at 9.30 pm).

Museums curator, Antonio Paolucci, declares that the success of last years initiative of introducing sundown visits has encouraged the Popes Museums to repeat the arrangement this year, giving Romans and their families the opportunity to see the vast collection of antiquities and art outside normal working hours.
