You dont need to go to Holland to see spring bulbs in all their glory. Turin and Verona are just two of the places in Italy where you can enjoy magnificent Easter floral displays.

The Parco Giardino Sigurt (Garden-Park) di Valeggio sul Mincio (Verona) is exhibiting a Tulipomania show that includes a record-breaking Tulip Walk down a 400m avenue lined entirely with tulips, while on the 30 March 2013 the medieval Castle of Pralormo of Turin inaugurates its spring English garden containing 75,000 tulips and daffodils.

Other famous and lesser known Italian gardens have special Easter programmes aimed at the whole family, including egg hunts, bunnies, picnics and story-telling.
