Between the 24th - 26th October, visitors can admire the craft products created by former drug addicts in the San Partignano recovery centre at Coriano, Rimini (Marche). The collection, entitled “Barrique, the Third Life of Wood”, is based on the re-use of old wine barrels from the San Patrignano Community wine cellar, converted and re-designed to make decorative articles and furniture.

A group of famous designers have contributed with their creativity to the San Patrignano Design Lab project, including Michele De Lucchi, Daniel Liebeskind, Chiara Ferragamo, Carlo Colombo, Matteo Thun and Karim Rashid. On Saturday 23rd the San Patrignano boys and girls will give a demonstration of their carpentry skills. Also available: tastings of cheeses, salami, bread and wine produced by the Community.

The event will be held in the venue Via Vitorchiano 42, a cultural melting pot, inspired by Andy Wahrol's “Factory”.
