Risultati immagini per fumetti in MUSEUMS!

You have time until April Fools' Day (April 1) to see the exhibition of cartoons by well-known comic artists illustrating twenty-two of Italy's most famous museums. The project, Fumetti nei Musei (Cartoons in Museums), launched by the Press and Communications Office of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism (MIBACT) and the Coconino Press-Fandango publishing house, aims to encourage children and young people to visit museums and become familiar with their contents.

The exhibition of the cartoons can be visited free of charge at the Istituto Centrale della Grafica near the Trevi Fountain, Rome. The Print Institute has the biggest collection of prints (over 110,000), sketches (over 23,000) and engravings in Italy, dating between 1700-1900. The museum also houses the largest collection in the world of copperplates and dies.
