Rigoni di Asiago, Italy's leading organic jams and honey manufacturers, have joined the list of Italian entrepreneurs who are supporting Italy's vast cultural heritage.

The company's latest project is the restoration of the allegorical fountain Venice Weds the Sea set in the gardens of the Palazzo Venezia Museum in the heart of Rome. The theme of the fountain recalls the often-fogotten fact that the palace was, in fact, the seat of the Venetian Embassy to Rome at the time of the Venetian Republic, which ended, after almost a thousand years, in 1797.

The restoration work is programmed to last until July 2018. Meanwhile, visitors to the charming secret garden inside the palace walls can see the work in progress through transparent protective panels. Work will also be broadcast through the website www.skylinewebcams.com
