Since museums and galleries became off-limits with the outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic, the Italian Ministry of Culture (MIBAC) and many curators of the principal collections have organised online alternative. Among the private initiatives, Italian photographer-journalist Massimo Pacifico, editor of the online magazine Barnum Review, has published MUSEITALIA, a free dip-into visual tour of the exhibits of 20 Italian galleries and museum from his own collection, available on the video platform vimeo. In his own words: in the hope that the heritage of the Belpaese can be enjoyed soon again in real life.
