The 17 edition of the popular Ancient Fruits Fair at Paderna Castle (Piacenza, Reggio Emilia) will take place on the 6-7 October.

Entertainment in Rimini doesnt end with the summer. Music lovers flock to the 60 th edition of the Sagra Musicale Malatestiana, one of Italys oldest and most prestigious musical events, which has staged performances by some of the worlds greatest musicians, singers and conductors, such as Riccardo Chailly, Giuseppe Sinopoli, Mstislav Rostropovich, Renata Tebaldi, Zubin Metha, James Conlon, Georges Pretre, Myung-Whun Chung and others.

The 12 th edition of the Festival of Gioia, directed by eminent Italian writer Dacia Mariani, concludes this years series on the 27 September 2012. Created with the intention of rescuing the abandoned village of Gioia Vecchio, destroyed in the Marsica earthquake of 1915, from oblivion, the Festival expanded this year to include the entire Marsica mountain region of Abruzzo, which lies within the territory of the National Park.This year's version featured 16 works, performed in Ortuccio, Villetta Barrea, Pescasseroli, Avezzano, Ortona, Pescina, Gioia del Marsi and also L'Aquila.
