Rome zoo welcomes baby zebra - Wanted in Rome  ROME's BABY ZEBRA

The Rome Biopark, as the old zoo is now called, is celebrating a new arrival. A baby giraffe  was born on the 9 July. He weighed 30 kilos at birth and was in perfect health.  The proud parents, Wendy and  Chuky, both live in Rome zoo, having been trasferred from Holland a few years ago.

The Biopark is organizing a competition among Rome children to chose a name for the newcomer.
